Dr. Tracy Oliver

You’ll meet few doctors that have more compassion and skill than Dr. Oliver. His conservative philosophy and technical dentistry is deeply-rooted with strong ethical principles and integrity. He believes in educating and identifying where problems originate and treat the underlying cause. His passion for delivering the best quality of dental care for his patients and their families is unsurpassed.

Dr. Oliver is a lifelong resident of Tidewater. He graduated from Old Dominion University before continuing on to the Medical College of Virginia (MCV). He returned from completing his dental education at MCV to start his practice in 1988. Since then, he has continued his dental education bringing to his practice the latest in technological advancements in materials and equipment used.

Dr. Oliver has built his practice one patient and one family at a time. He has maintained his practice by gaining trust and confidence, a practice motivated by quality care.

Staying active in many leading dental organizations, Dr. Oliver is a member of The ADA, The Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and the Tidewater Dental Society. Dr. Oliver’s practice is focused on advanced restorative, cosmetic and NTI appliances for reduction in wear of teeth (the appliance also reduces head, neck and facial pain). He is also a member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry.

Dr. Oliver lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Kim, and their daughter Barbara Ann and son Palmer Galt who enjoy sailing and traveling.

Dr. Jorge Pelaez

After 2 years and more than 140 candidates, Dr. Oliver has found an associate who possesses the qualities essential to deliver our standard of care. Dr. Jorge Pelaez earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pennsylvania State University and continued on to study dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with honors in 2001. After completing his residency at Camp Lejeune, in Jacksonville, NC and achieving an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2002 he continued on with the Navy to "see the world" and worked his way to Lieutenant Commander. In early 2009 he left the Navy and joined our practice.

Dr Pelaez comes from a family of medicine developing a passion for dentistry early on in his childhood. He enjoys working with his hands and gets his greatest pleasure from improving patient´s oral health and smiles while focusing on prevention of disease. He also has a special aptitude in helping apprehensive patients feel at ease. He is actively involved with a number of associations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and volunteers as a dentist for both the Chesapeake and Beach Health Clinic.

As a child Dr Pelaez enjoyed vacationing in Virginia Beach with his family and now will become a permanent resident. His fiance is a native of Hampton Roads who has been practicing medicine (OBGYN) since 2002 at the beach. They are an active couple enjoying running, cycling, skiing and other outdoor activities. Dr Pelaez is also an avid golfer.
